240 acres of century-old trees, a glass house, and a lake. Bangalore at its greenest. Budget 1.5–2 hours. Best walked slowly.

One of Bangalore’s oldest neighbourhoods. Flower markets, spice shops, temple streets. Authentic and walkable. 1 hour.

11:30 AM — Third-Wave Coffee

Blue Tokai or Third Wave Coffee Roasters in Indiranagar. Pour-over, flat whites, and single-origin espresso. This is India’s coffee capital. ₹150–300.

1:00 PM — Lunch at Meghana Foods

Andhra biryani that locals argue about passionately. Chicken biryani with salan. ₹200–350. Indiranagar location.

2:30 PM — Indiranagar & Koramangala

Bangalore’s twin neighbourhood hubs. Browse boutiques on 12th Main, check out indie bookshops, and wander. This is where Bangalore’s creative class lives.

4:30 PM — Brewery Hopping

Start at Toit in Indiranagar (India’s most famous brewpub), then Arbor Brewing on Magrath Road. Two craft beers + bar snacks: ₹1,000–1,500. UPI at both.

7:30 PM — Dinner

Permit Room for South Indian cocktails and bar food (₹800–1,200) or Toast & Tonic for farm-to-table modern Indian (₹2,000–3,500).

Day Trips from Bangalore

Mysore

3 hours by road. The Mysore Palace, Chamundi Hills, and the famous Devaraja Market. One of India’s most beautiful small cities. Excellent as a day trip or overnight.

Nandi Hills

1.5 hours. Sunrise viewpoint at 1,500m elevation. Cool air, cycling trails, and paragliding. Go early — very early.

Coorg

5–6 hours. Coffee plantations, waterfalls, and trekking in the Western Ghats. Best as a 2-day trip.
