Day 1: Fort Kochi Heritage Walk

9:00 AM — Chinese Fishing Nets

Watch the nets operate at the Fort Kochi waterfront. Best in the morning with the light. Free (or ₹100–200 to help operate).

9:45 AM — St. Francis Church

India’s oldest European church (1503). Vasco da Gama was originally buried here. Free. 20 minutes.

10:15 AM — Fort Kochi Streets & Art Galleries

Wander the colonial streets. Visit Kashi Art Café for coffee (₹150–250) and browse the galleries. 1.5 hours.

12:00 PM — Mattancherry Palace

Kerala murals depicting Hindu mythology. ₹100 (foreigner). 45 minutes.

12:45 PM — Jew Town & Paradesi Synagogue

Antique shops, spice merchants, and the 1568 synagogue. Synagogue: ₹10. Buy spices here — good quality cardamom and pepper. 45 minutes.

3:30 PM — Lulu Mall or Broadway Market

Lulu for air-conditioned modern shopping; Broadway for local spices and textiles. UPI at both.

5:00 PM — Sunset at Fort Kochi Beach

Watch the sunset behind the Chinese fishing nets. Iconic Kochi moment. Free.

6:30 PM — Kathakali Performance

Kerala Kathakali Centre. Arrive early to watch the elaborate makeup. ₹350–500. 1.5 hours. Cash/UPI.

8:30 PM — Dinner at Fort House

Waterfront Kerala cuisine. Fish curry, prawns, cocktails. ₹500–800. UPI/cards.

Day 2: Backwaters or Deeper Kochi

Option A: Alleppey Backwaters Day Trip

Option B: Munnar Day Trip
