Day 1: White Town & Heritage

Morning walk along the waterfront. Gandhi statue, colonial buildings, and bay views. Free.

10:30 AM — White Town Wandering

Rue Suffren, Rue Romain Rolland, colonial villas, art galleries. 1.5–2 hours. Rent a bicycle (₹100–200/day) for the full experience.

12:30 PM — Lunch at Villa Shanti

French-Tamil fusion in a beautiful courtyard. ₹600–1,000. Cards/UPI.

2:30 PM — Manakula Vinayagar Temple

A colourful Ganesh temple where a temple elephant blesses visitors. Free. 20 minutes.

3:00 PM — Pondicherry Museum

French colonial artefacts, sculpture, and local history. ₹20. 45 minutes.

4:30 PM — Café des Arts or Indian Kaffe Express

Afternoon coffee and pastries. ₹100–250. UPI.

6:00 PM — Sunset at the Promenade

Join the evening crowd on the boulevard. Street food vendors sell sundal and bajji. ₹30–60.

7:30 PM — Dinner at Le Dupleix
