The French influence is genuine (not tourist kitsch), and the Tamil food is some of South India&#8217;s best.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>French &amp; European<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Baker Street<\/strong> \u2014 White Town. The best bakery in Pondy. Fresh croissants, baguettes, and pastries every morning. \u20b950\u2013120.
